Adam mentioned over text when I passed along our disputed game count for last week that it was a heavy one and that he expected we'd split. Sure enough, he and I split our six disputed games; Joe had a better week though as he swept our two disputed games and took five of eight from Adam.
The bad news for me now is that I'm tied for the bottom of the group standings, though not for having a bad week. It was just that others had a better week, as six games still separate me and Adam, though his lead for the whole group is down to just four games.
You can view how we've all picked in relation to each other here. After hovering around .500 in consensus picks, we hit on all four of ours this past week, which was a big reason why the whole group finished above .500 for the week. Adam's lead once again stems from his continued success in hero picks, though he split his two from last week.
As we look ahead to the new week, we have one of the more groupthink-laden set of picks in column history. Joe disagrees with Adam and I on just three games apiece, while Adam and I dispute a whopping four out of 13. Let's get to it!
Thursday Night
Minnesota Vikings @ Los Angeles Chargers (-3.5)
Lucas: Chargers. Should be a good one to continue to right the ship. I just don't fully trust the Vikings right now.
Adam: Vikings. My gut says the Chargers should win, but they have been mid at best the last few weeks. Minnesota will give them a tough game.
Joe: Vikings.
Sunday, Early Afternoon
Miami Dolphins @ Atlanta Falcons (-7.5)
Lucas: Falcons. HOW DOES MIKE MCDANIEL STILL HAVE A JOB?!
Adam: Falcons. Is Miami even hiding it any more? Tank-a-thon!
Joe: Falcons.
New York Jets @ Cincinnati Bengals (-6.5)
Lucas: Bengals. It's amazing that you just had to give Joe Flacco some elite weapons and he looks like his old self. That'll be more than enough against... whatever it is the Jets are putting out on the field every week.
Adam: Bengals. This feels like a trap game... I’ll take Ol’ Man Flacco, but I don’t like it.
Joe: Bengals.
Cleveland Browns @ New England Patriots (-7.5)
Lucas: Browns. I could probably go either way since the Pats appear to have reloaded, but I think Cleveland might have the defense to keep this close.
Adam: Browns. Both teams have shown flashes and NOT. But 7.5 between these two seems a touch high. I'm sure I am missing some key factor that may sway my vote, but Browns to the Super Bowl toilet bowl.
Joe: Browns.
New York Giants @ Philadelphia Eagles (-7.5)
Lucas: Giants. I'm sure Philly's bound to have revenge on their minds from a couple weeks ago, but this is a feisty enough Giants team that I'll happily take the points.
Adam: Eagles. When is Skattebo gonna get a concussion from hitting himself in the head against the cinder block wall? Or Dart get... well, pancaked? I say this game right here, right now.
Joe: Giants.
Buffalo Bills @ Carolina Panthers (+7.5)
Lucas: Panthers. I know they just had a bye, but the Bills should not be this big of favorites, especially since the Panthers haven't lost since that one blog decided to call it quits.
Adam: Panthers. Wow, a touchdown dog at home. I get it; Young is out, but your back up cannot be that bad- *checks note* wow that old too! Godspeed, Red Rifle.
Joe: Bills.
Chicago Bears @ Baltimore Ravens (-6.5)
Lucas: Bears. I legitimately do not get this line. Even if Lamar is back, their defense is absolutely awful. And when you're playing so badly you end up giving up all your toys...
Adam: Ravens. Ok, what am I missing? I thought Lamar wasn’t coming back this week *checks news stories* OK, so looks like he is trying to come back this week. Based on that I'm taking the Ravens, but calling it now: if Jackson does not suit up, I am changing to the Bears.Source(s) are telling us it was the Ravens veteran leaders that removed the games from the locker room..

That is TOUGH #PMSLive pic.twitter.com/EbLpX4qhVm
Lucas note: Yes, he can do that as long as he gives enough lead time.
Joe: Bears.
San Francisco 49ers @ Houston Texans (+1.5)
Lucas: 49ers. It's gonna be kinda hilarious when the Niners end up down to their eighth string wideouts and tenth offensive line combination and still win the NFC West.
Adam: 49ers. I feel like I have been so hard on the Niners all season as they've battled injuries. I’ll take the them here on the road against a meh to meh-plus team.
Joe: 49ers.
Sunday, Late Afternoon
Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ New Orleans Saints (+5.5)
Lucas: Buccaneers. Should be due for a bounceback this week. Other than the few minutes right around halftime the Saints were pretty bad against the Bears.
Adam: Buccaneers. OK that’s it, now its time for Mr. Angry Eyes. Baker gonna Bake.
Dallas Cowboys @ Denver Broncos (-3.5)
Lucas: Broncos. Doubt they'll need to hang 33 in the fourth again.
Adam: Broncos. What a come back last week. 33 in the 4th, dayum.in baseball we call this a wheeeeeeeee! pic.twitter.com/SZJEhbs1nf
— Sarah Langs (@SlangsOnSports) October 19, 2025
Joe: Broncos.
Tennessee Titans @ Indianapolis Colts (-14.5)
Lucas: Colts. I thought pretty hard about this one, but the Titans are still not very good and Indy is in first in the AFC. Just like we all predicted...
Adam: Colts. At first I was going to say that’s a little harsh, but no its really not, they really are that bad.
Joe: Colts.
Sunday Night
Green Bay Packers @ Pittsburgh Steelers (+3.5)
Lucas: Steelers. I just... I can't do it. The Packers aren't the same team away from Lambeau, and they haven't won in Pittsburgh since 1970. I don't know if Aaron Rodgers will have a chip on his shoulder going up against his former team, and I can't help but feel like Nate Hobbs is going to get roasted and put on a Primanti's sandwich by the time this game is over. I can just hear Tree's gloating phone call to Tom Grossi now...
Lucas note: [/reversejinx]
Adam: Packers. I mean, they cannot put three weeks of stinkers up. Two weeks ago against the Bengals may not have looked bad, but Cincy had it within six with only four minutes left. And Arizona, let’s not talk about that. I just think 3 stinkers in a row, what you got here limburger.
Joe: Packers.
Monday Night
Washington Commanders @ Kansas City Chiefs (-10.5)
Lucas: Chiefs. I originally took Washington here, but literally as I was filling in lines I saw a popup that Jayden Daniels is expected to miss this game.
Adam: Chiefs. But only because Daniels is out. With him they would cover this easy.
Joe: Chiefs.
Records So Far
