The gap narrowed ever so slightly as I took four of seven disputed games from Adam last week; I also took two of three from Joe and the two of them split their eight disputed games. This seems about par for the course when we have a ton of disputed games, and as such Adam's lead in the group is holding pretty close to what it's been at seven games with 64 to play.
You can view how we've all picked in relation to each other here. It was a good week for hero picks on the whole, as Adam's BS continues with a 3-1 mark on the week, while Geoffrey hit on both of his. We also had a fair number of even splits last week, and I got back into more of a positive mark in those games, and consensus games continue to hit at around the clip we've been at for most of the year.
So as we look ahead to Week 15, Joe and I disagree on four games out of 16, while Adam disagrees with each of us on five games. Let's get to it!
Thursday Night
Atlanta Falcons @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-4.5)
Lucas: Buccaneers. Even though Tampa has come back down to earth a lot, I still trust them way more than the Falcons.
Adam: Buccaneers. I get that this line is probably more due to the fact that this is a divisional game and coming off the loss last week to the less than impressive Saints. But I got Tampa getting it done at home by a touchdown.
Joe: Buccaneers.
Sunday, Early Afternoon
Cleveland Browns @ Chicago Bears (-6.5)
Lucas: Bears. But really, Caleb Williams is a phenomenon that needs to be studied. He'll spend the first half of games looking like ass, then as the game goes on, pulls about three or four "Holy crap!" plays out of his butt. He may not need to do that as much this week against Cleveland, we'll see. In the meantime, I have to close this pick out with this TikTok my friend Vince sent me Wednesday evening that I enjoyed.

Adam: Bears. I don’t love the line, but the Browns are the Browns. And the Bears, despite the loss last week, are a much better football team. Also in other news, Smokin’ Jay was asked about if he would come out of retirement to play with Ben Johnson again. It was a resounding yes.
Lucas note: I referenced this in our group text thread, but I am all for this if for no other reason than getting to add to this.Joe: Bears.
Baltimore Ravens @ Cincinnati Bengals (+1.5)
Lucas: Bengals. I should've known. It's December, this is when the Ravens start to choke a little bit.
Adam: Bengals. Just playing the team that I think is better right now and that is the Bengals, especially at home AND getting points.
Joe: Bengals.
Los Angeles Chargers @ Kansas City Chiefs (-5.5)
Lucas: Chargers. We're watching the fall of a dynasty before our very eyes. And I for one am not complaining. Although...
Adam: Chargers. Not sure I got a bead on who wins, but I don’t see this being a six-plus point win given how KC has played...
Joe: Chargers.
Buffalo Bills @ New England Patriots (+1.5)
Lucas: Patriots.
Adam: Patriots. Here is going to be a good game this week. The Bills seem to do just enough to win consistently but nothing blowing me out of the water. And Maye and the Pats are coming off a bye, letting some of the nagging injuries heal up.
Joe: Patriots.
Washington Commanders @ New York Giants (-1.5)
Lucas: Giants. Who would've pictured this as a Tank Bowl three months ago? The Giants, sure, but the Commies?
Adam: Giants. What could have been a good game is just meh. Home team.
Joe: Commanders.
Las Vegas Raiders @ Philadelphia Eagles (-13.5)
Lucas: Raiders. Remember when I said last week how funny it would be to get the Double Crying Sirianni results? Guess what? They happened!
Adam: Eagles. Philly is coming off back to back losses and needs something big. I’ll take that here and hope they can mount the 14 points.John Carroll beating Mount Union in double OT to advance to the quarterfinals is always better with Titanic music 🎶 🔊🏈⚡️💙 #d3fb #jcu #jcufootball #bluestreaks #menofcarroll @JohnCarrollU pic.twitter.com/Ie9LSds6Oe

Joe: Raiders.
New York Jets @ Jacksonville Jaguars (-12.5)
Lucas: Jets. Similar to the Raiders-Eagles game in that this is a lot of points to lay. With the Jags, it's more that I can't help but worry that the bad version of Duval is overdue.
Adam: Jaguars. Not sure I like this line; you never know what Jags team you are going to get. And despite my “Sunshine on his white steed” comments all season long, he has generally been pretty bad. But the Jets are also bad Bad BAD.
Joe: Jaguars.
Arizona Cardinals @ Houston Texans (-7.5)
Lucas: Texans. Houston is for real, but I was tempted to go Arizona as a solidarity pick. Not because of the quarterfinal game against Bethel coming up, but because cancer is a dick. Rest in peace, Coach Thorne.
Adam: Texans. I feel like I have slept on Houston a little, but they have had a nice little run of late. Leaning towards that continuing with the just ok Cardinals coming into the armpit.Jeff Thorne was my mentor and friend. He was a leader on the field, a builder of character, and a source of inspiration for everyone who wore the Cardinal uniform and the coaches who worked by his side. Joe: Texans.
Sunday, Late Afternoon
Green Bay Packers @ Denver Broncos (+1.5)
Lucas: Packers. Denver's had a horseshoe up its butt the entire season, and this Green Bay team is pretty similar, just with a better offense. All hail Toyotathon Jordan Love.
Adam: Packers. Interesting line, But I have the Packers as leaps better than Denver. I’ll lay the 1.5 even on the road. As long as Love can get something going against the Denver defense it should be smooth sailing.
Joe: Packers.
Detroit Lions @ Los Angeles Rams (-4.5)
Lucas: Lions. I mean, it's not quite must-win, but this is a pretty important one for Detroit.
Adam: Rams. LA is arguably the best team in the NFC, if not NFL right now. I see this as a high scoring game, but the Rams pull away late. Puka line prediction 11-175-3. I said what I said.
Joe: Rams.
Carolina Panthers @ New Orleans Saints (+2.5)
Lucas: Panthers. Part of me is a little surprised I only have to lay a field goal, but I'm not complaining.
Adam: Panthers. Easy, next.
Joe: Panthers.
Tennessee Titans @ San Francisco 49ers (-13.5)
Lucas: Titans. Again, purely a points pick, which inevitably means the Niners are going to drop 50 on this team.
Adam: 49ers. Like above: Easy, next.
Joe: Titans.
Indianapolis Colts @ Seattle Seahawks (-10.5)
Lucas: Seahawks. BAH GAWD, THAT'S *checks notes* ... PHILLIP RIVERS' MUSIC?!
Joe: Seahawks.
Sunday Night
Minnesota Vikings @ Dallas Cowboys (-6.5)
Lucas: Vikings. I couldn't find the Spiderman meme of this, but I think it's funny that the Vikings joined most of their NFC North brethren in following getting shut out by pitching a shutout and the only other team to pull the feat off is the Broncos somehow.
Adam: Vikings. This line definitely seems high regardless, but also pulling for a Minnesota win outright. That way the only NFC North team to no beat the Cowboys would be the Packers, lol.
Joe: Cowboys.
Monday Night
Miami Dolphins @ Pittsburgh Steelers (-3.5)
Lucas: Steelers. I didn't realize until afterwards that I got away with picking Tua in the cold. Don't know that it'll hit twice though.
Adam: Dolphins. Was tempted to go Pitt, but A A Ron is not good anymore, and Miami is on a little but of a heater. So rolling with the hot team right now.
Lucas note: Rodgers just posted the 10th best passer rating among quarterbacks in Week 14 and is 11th for the season. He's not Peak Rodgers anymore, sure, but come on.
Joe: Steelers.
Records So Far
Lucas: 102-106 (7-7 last week)
Adam: 109-99 (6-8 last week)
Joe: 99-109 (6-8 last week)
Geoffrey: 100-108 (7-7 last week)
Jim: 102-106 (6-8 last week)
Tom: 99-109 (5-9 last week)
